Take me out to the BALL GAME

So this might not jive with everyone, but there is a Jays game on the Saturday that I'm in TO!!! I'm JONESIN' for some baseball, having to TV, you see, so I was thinking.....

Something to consider. It's at 1PM, so it wouldn't take up the evening... We don't even have to stay for the whole thing, but...

Again, just a thought. If it's a resounding no, maybe Dave, you and I can see the Sunday game?

Later gators :)

I'm pretty ambivalent either way. I could go, or not go, whatev.

As Nelly Fart-ado (yeah, I'm a 13-year old boy) said: "I don't want ambivalence no morrrre, no morrre".

If you guys don't dig, that's cool.

How cheap are we talkin' here? It's not Twoonie Tuesday, so what, like 6-dollar Saturday or something? To be honest, it doesn't really matter that much, 'cause I'm thinking it may afford more time for those of us not glued to the game to get some chatting in. So, yeah, I guess I'm "game." ;)

I was originally going to post that we should wait until Sunday to go to the game, but then I realized that we would be downtown already (Cora's for breakfast and then walking along Queen/Eaton Centre/whatever) so we could head to the game. Then we could head back to Adam's for a bbq and drinks, then head downtown to the bar. So I'm up for the game (hopefully the Dome will be open), but also ok with going on Sunday and sticking to our original plan of going to the park, etc. Oh, also, maybe we could go for a one hour tour of the Steamwhistle Brewery after the Jays game (it's right next to Skydome) and then head back to Adam's.

So to clarify this mumbled reply, here's the schedule if we go to the Jays game on Saturday:

1. Breakfast at Tiffany's...I mean Cora's at say 10am-ish (maybe earlier...?)
2. Walk along Queen and go to the funky stores
3. Grab a hot-dog and/or fries at Bozo's outside of the Dome at around 12:30
4. Get our tickets and head inside for the 1:07 start.
5. Go to the brewery after the game at around 4ish
6. Back to Adam's for the bbq and drinks
7. Head downtown
8. Fall asleep
9. Repeat the next day!

How does that sound? If people don't want to go to the Jays game, we can replace that with a tour of the brewery and then go to the park and grab some gelato at some point and then head to Adam's.

The tickets will be $9 (maybe $11 if they still have those hidden 'holding fees').

So what you're telling us Dave, is that you planned on hitting up the game the whole time!! I mean, how else could you so quickly have put together that schedule. HAHA! I'm on to you ;) And I think it's a great idea. I won't be able to do much of anything on Sunday as I'm promised to Ann and Alain (Remi's folks). But I'll see what their plans are for the day and maybe I can spend the morning with you guys :)

...and MAYBE I'm just a quick-thinker! No, seriously, I threw that together out of nowhere! My mind was also a little cloudy because I accidentally got a big whiff of Vim when I was cleaning our tub and I think there's a message on the bottle strictly saying not to inhale Vim.

Sue and I are cool with that schedule, too! Looks like we'll see y'all in a week.
